"Just As I Am"
In loving memory of my two puppies Ash and Meade.
The two puppies that changed my heart and life forever. Daddy loves you.
My name is Kerry Spry. I am the president and CEO at bwpcareers.com and I'm just a regular everyday guy. I was born in Atlanta, GA. and I grew up in Atlanta as well as St. Petersburg, FLA. (my home away from home). And man I have an awesome life! And by awesome I mean I'm happy.
I'm a proud father of two of my greatest achievements in life. And I'm just like anyone else that fell in love early and started a family and things just didn't work out. No better. No worse. Things just didn't work out. Their mother (she's a great mother by the way), and she often asks me if I could do it all again what I would do different? Well the answer to that question is absolutely nothing because I'm grateful for the wins and the losses...both have shaped me equally. No regrets.
I've always done my best each and every day of my life in everything that I've done. And while things didn't always work out exactly as I had planned, things have still worked out the way they worked out and that's good enough for me. And going forward, if something else doesn't work out as planned then it just doesn't work out as planned. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying my hardest every single day to treat people with love and care or stop trying my hardest just because things don't always work out. Because sometimes things just don't work out. But if you keep trying and keep taking the right path you'll eventually end up in the right place and if you don't, just enjoy the journey that the right path has to offer. Trust me, the right path is always the best path. Of course it's going to be a lot harder and lonelier and it presents so many unexpected obstacles and all of your standards and morals are challenged every step of the way, but the rewards are beyond measure when you're on the right path and doing the right things, just as the consequences are beyond measure when you're on the wrong path and doing the wrong things.
Anyways, I have no clue why I just started rambling. I think I just wanted you all to know that I'm just like you. No better and no worse. But the reason I added this page to our website is because I got a call yesterday from someone that asked me why I wasn't smiling in my picture. So I decided to post this picture from this past Sunday and tell you all a little bit about myself as a person. But that has led me back to the reason that we're all here and that is bwpcareers.com and the opportunity some of you might have to come to work with me as an Independent Contract Recruiter.
Sorry, but for me, at this time of year, that's all I can clearly think about and all I want to talk about. Perhaps a personal blog would be better written and more personal at a later date, but for now, this is where it's ending up...all about the business and the team of recruiters that makes bwpcareers.com the huge success that it is today. So before I go any further, I'd like to thank each and every one of you that make up the bwpcareers.com team for all of your hard work and effort. It's an absolute pleasure leading and serving you all. Thank you all so much. You all are the best.
The fact of the matter is that this company and the opportunity some of you all may have to work here is an excellent opportunity. And yes it's 100% for real and yes I am 100% a real person. My office is located in Atlanta, GA. and I have been sitting at this exact same desk in the exact same location since 2006 and we're not going anywhere. Myself and my team of recruiters (some seasoned and some with zero experience before joining our team), are the very best at what we do. We just crossed the 750 hire mark for the season in just 10 short weeks and we're just halfway through the season. And you can look anywhere you want and ask anybody you want to ask if they or their company is achieving at that level and I assure you, the answer will be no. Like I said somewhere, "to be the best, try working with the best".
I think that's a perfect way to end this whatever this is...I have to get back to work anyway. Thanks for your time. And feel free to judge...I'm not afraid of any of that. This blog was titled "Just As I Am" for a reason and I meant it.
